What is Hrishti?
Hrishti is a social entrepreneurship spreading joy to the children who are affected
with any sight related problems. By adopting preventive approaches, we are
building a positive & enlightening future for all to see.
It’s easy for anyone to be a part of this work by supporting us through their contributions.
The net earnings (after tax and expenses) goes to our partner organizations who are working in preventing blindness in children.
How it all started...
We came across some hard facts
The World Health Organization (WHO) reports that there are
approximately 19 million visually impaired children in the world,
and 1.4 million are blind.
In India, 0.8 per 1000 children are estimated to be blind.
About half of the causes of blindness and visual impairment are
potentially preventable or treatable.
We are a social enterprise amplifying stakeholder value.
We would like to spread the light of joy in peoples' lives by giving them better sight.
We work to generate funds to support the initiatives of our partners in preventing visual impairment among children.
